The Kino Library, located in the Pastoral Center of the diocese of Phoenix is a wonderful collection of books, periodicals, and various media resources to assist you in any kind of theological study you would like to do. It is easy and inexpensive to make use of this collection. Just come to the main desk of the Center and ask for the Library. You will be directed to the correct doors, sign up and start to use it. The librarian, Darcy Peletich, is always helpful and will assist you in finding what need. They subscribe to over 150 periodicals including Journal of Biblical Literature, Semeia, Pro Ecclesia, Christian Century, Word and World, and many others that are of general religious and ecumenical interest. And if you can't find it there, they are also connected to electronic journal collections through ATLA/ATLAS, Religious and Theological Abstracts, and First Search.
The mission of the library is to provide theological resources for Catholics throughout the Diocese of Phoenix especially to partiicpants enrolled in academic religious studies programs. The library's colletions are also available to adults of other faiths. The library offers user-centered services, builds collections, and provides an inviting environment for study, collaboration, and reflection.
