Building a Healthy Community

The Arizona Ecumenical Council's Commission on Public Policy has spent the last year learning about various proposals and suggestions regarding hearcare reform in the state of Arizona.  Wtih 20% of our citizens lacking health coverage coupled with the dramatic rise in costs and premiums, it is a matter of biblical justice to find a better way to build healthy communities in our state.  The AEC is offering a presentation for use at state church assemblies, ministerial associations, and congregational gatherings.  The power point format covers three areas:

1) Our faith values regarding health
2) Understanding the current problems and
3) What we can do to help.

The presentation length can be from 45 minutes to 3 hours depending on how much information and discussion you would like for the topic.  In addition we can schedule a wonderful workshop on being an "advocate" for healthcare.  Please contact our office for details and scheduling at  602.468.3818  or  aec@aecunity.net
